Wisconsin AWWA selected Madison Water Utility Well 7 Reconstruction for the 2017 Project of the Year Award. This award recognizes excellence in engineering, design, or construction in the Wisconsin drinking water industry, along with successful alliances between the owner, project team, and community.

Madison Water Utility teamed with Strand Associates, Inc.^® to reconstruct its 75 year-old Well 7. The new facility provides improved water quality and efficiency, increased capacity, and better fire protection for residential and commercial clients, while blending into the well-established community aesthetics.
