The Ravinia Avenue Roundabout project in the village of Orland Park, Illinois, was featured in the August 2022 edition of American Public Works Association’s Reporter magazine. The Village’s first roundabout replaced a four-way stop controlled intersection that served as the main entrance to its Village Hall Complex. The roundabout design met the Village’s goals of increased safety, capacity, and access. The article highlights the project team and Village’s stakeholder involvement plan that provided open dialogue opportunities for all members of the community and helped the project garner support.
