Morgantown Utility Board (MUB), Morgantown, West Virginia, broke ground on February 2, 2017 for their wastewater treatment plant project that expands facility capacity from 12 to 20.8 million gallons per day. The expansion, designed by Strand Associates, Inc.®, includes significant improvements to the headworks and sludge processing, and the addition of membrane bioreactors and ancillary unit processes. The plant will serve the needs of the growing population well beyond 2040. Strand is honored to have provided water and wastewater engineering services to MUB for more than 30 years.
