The Village of Lindenhurst, IL recently hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to proceed with various water system improvements to allow for receiving Lake Michigan water. With the assistance of Strand, design is completed and now construction is underway for the connection facility reservoir, booster station, and approximately 39,000 feet of water main improvements. Total cost for these projects within the Village is $17 million. Strand is also assisting the Village with two loans from the IEPA Public Water Supply Loan Program for project funding.
