Channahon’s Wastewater Treatment Plant was awarded a 2022 American Public Works Association (APWA) Chicago Metro-Southwest Branch Public Works Project of the Year Award in the Environment, $5 million but less than $25 million, category. Working collaboratively with the Village of Channahon, we designed and constructed a WWTP expansion that met the Village’s goals of expanding treatment capacity, increasing quality of effluent discharged to the Des Plaines River, and meeting more stringent permit limits economically.
