We provided design of the WWTP expansion in response to growth of the city. Since this site is known for its flooding history, the entrance road to the WWTP was designed with a low water crossing. This new plant is critical infrastructure, so everyday access is needed even during a flood event. Design of the low water crossing included six barrels of 12-inch reinforced concrete pipe with concrete slope paving and elevation changes. The top of the concrete is designed to convey the 100-year water surface elevation.
