We have assisted Pecos City in the plan development, design, and construction management for major airfield pavement and electrical improvements since 2007.  Improvements include asphalt overlays and replacement of airfield lighting for both runways, concrete fuel farm pavement, and pavement crack and surface sealing of 87,000 LF and 102,500 SY, respectively. Overlay of the secondary runway included milling the existing asphalt surface because of severe block cracking and surface deterioration.  The primary runway involved a thin surface overlay using a small aggregate hot mix design.  At least one runway was kept open throughout construction. Our most recent project at the airport included three box hangars and security/game fencing of the airport perimeter.
