We provided engineering solutions for building modifications to an existing production facility. Changing production needs to meet stricter hygiene requirements resulted in a project to modify the HVAC system and access pathways throughout the plant.
Building modifications included structural column relocation for room and access construction, mezzanine construction for new interior-mounted HVAC equipment, and temporary wall openings for equipment and material access during construction activities. Production room walls and doors were also added.
New fabric ductwork installation delivers well-distributed air movement in this conditioned, temperature-maintained production space.
Planning and coordination of activities were vital in maintaining ongoing operations in adjoining spaces during construction.
