We provide design and construction services for bridges. After an in-depth inspection, our cost estimates have often justified rehabilitation over replacement. This option saves money and often can extend the life of the structure another 20 years. In addition to an overlay or deck replacement, rehabilitation may include bearing replacement, expansion joint replacement, surface repair to beams and substructures, railing replacement, and painting.
Some of our projects have been funded in part with federal or state aid, and others have been completely financed with local funds. In addition to providing hydraulic reports, type studies, structure plans and specifications, and construction observation services, these rehabilitation projects have required the preparation of cost estimates and bidding documents.
