In order to properly design a SCADA system, the engineer must have a thorough understanding of the industry and remain current with the ever-changing technology. This familiarity must be with both hardware and software.
Accordingly, we are listed as integrators for two leading “Human-Machine” interface (HMI) software packages. This familiarity, in combination with our knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC)-based control systems, gives us the unique ability to specify a system that will allow the flexibility to use any vendor familiar with PLC technology and to easily add to the system in the future. Clients have found this to be a considerable benefit because of the cost-savings associated with using commercially-available systems and hardware.
