Peer reviews
We offer peer reviews for both public and private sector clients. Our involvement in the Wisconsin Statewide
Master Contract for Multilane Roundabout Reviews has led more than 35 review projects to date.
Through this experience, over the past several years we have created an efficient
roundabout review process that provides designers great
insights for improving their designs.
We
have recently been listed as one of only three firms qualified
as Level 2 designer and
reviewer for the State of Wisconsin.
Mentoring
We have
offered mentoring to WisDOT and consultant staff in
roundabout geometric design and RODEL traffic modeling.
We have also had the unique opportunity to work closely
with nationally recognized roundabout experts through
the
Statewide Master Contract for Multilane Roundabout
Reviews. Through this experience our roundabout team
has gathered new ideas and materials to further refine
our roundabout mentoring capabilities.
design guidelines
We have
teamed with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT)
to co-author the first rewrite of the Facilities
Development Manual (FDM) and Traffic Guidelines Manual (TGM)
roundabout design guidance sections. This effort
involved extensive meetings and interaction with
regional staff, central office staff, roundabout design
experts, construction industry representatives, and
other state DOTs and Federal Highways.
