Roundabouts
View our Roundabout Projects
Roundabouts have been used throughout the world for decades and
are currently gaining popularity in the United States because
they are an innovative, cost-effective, safe alternative to
conventional intersection treatments, such as signals or
four-way stops. Roundabouts are innovative in that they
provide traffic calming, safety, aesthetic, and environmental
benefits while moving high volumes of traffic with minimal
delay. There are roundabout types to fit most traffic and
land use situations.
We are experts in all aspects of roundabout design from the
initial feasibility study to the final design and construction.
our experience includes more than 150 roundabouts in several
states. Our cutting edge knowledge has led Wisconsin
Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to select us for a
Specialty Master Contract to review roundabout feasibility and
design projects, to co-author the newly updated
roundabout section of the Facilities Development Manual, and
most recently, as Level 2 Qualified Roundabout Designers and
Reviews.
